Position
At Ahold the position of Tax Manager Europe has become vacant. The Tax Manager Europe will report to the Tax Director Europe and is located at the Ahold corporate center in Amsterdam (and one day per week in Zaandam). He or she will be (co)responsible for a large part of the (European) tax planning strategy and provide tax support to the business. You advise on mergers & acquisitions and monitor transfer pricing policy and documentation. More specifically the responsibilities and tasks include:
- Execution of a large part of the (European) tax planning strategy;
- Providing tax support to the business, including new business development;
- Tax technical support in special projects, cross border transactions, joint ventures, financing of group companies;
- Assisting in the communication with and maintaining a solid relationship with the Dutch Tax authorities;
- Monitoring and maintain the transfer pricing policy and documentation;
- Working together with the Tax Accounting & Compliance team in quarterly and year-end closing procedures.
