Position
At the Regional Headquarters based in Amstelveen the position has become vacant for a Corporate Income Tax Manager. He or she will report to the Benelux Tax Director and will be part of a tax team with 8 tax professionals, including the EMEA Tax Director and tax professionals with EMEA and Global functions. The Corporate Income Tax Manager will initially and mainly work on Dutch corporate income tax advice and international tax projects. More specifically the activities and responsibilities include:
- Support higher management in making major tax planning decisions that take place in the Benelux region. This role includes managing large international tax projects, for example supply chain projects and interest deduction projects. Providing support to controllership in the compliance process and the set-up of these structures;
- Liaising with the Dutch Tax Authorities and negotiate APA’s in the Netherlands and foreign jurisdictions if appropriate;
- Support in investigating the changes in Dutch fiscal law and case law.
Candidate
The ideal candidate has a university degree in taxation and some 5-8 years of relevant tax planning experience at a big 4, international law firm preferably combined with some in-house experience You have a good understanding of Dutch and international taxation. Some (US) tax planning experience would be a plus. You are ambitious, team player and have a hands-on mentality and you can cope with a highly demanding environment. You are fluent in English and Dutch (verbal & written).
