Position

At the Leiden site a new position of Tax Specialist has arisen. The tax department is responsible for all Dutch related tax matters of the Johnson & Johnson  companies in the Netherlands. This includes Janssen Biologics, Crucell, J&J Medical, Janssen Cilag, Mentor and J&J Consumer. The tax department is furthermore responsible for the tax matters of Crucell worldwide. The current tax department consists of a tax director and a transfer pricing manager. The department develops and executes the tax strategy, including transfer pricing, is end responsible for tax compliance and tax accounting.  The tasks of the Tax Specialist will include:

  • General support tax team, for national and international tax matters;
  • Improve, maintain and manage tax control framework;
  • Manage internal tax reporting systems and tools;
  • Manage and improve tax compliance processes NL (preparing and filing the tax return is outsourced).
  • Maintain relationship with external advisors and tax authority.


Candidate

The ideal candidate has a degree in tax some 4-6 years of relevant experience as a corporate tax specialist within consultancy, in-house tax or at the tax authorities. You have strong corporate income tax knowledge, and affinity with tax accounting or tax control framework.  You are a hands-on team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You have a proactive approach, you are result driven and able to independently operate within the organization. Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
