The Resource searches for senior and junior tax positions in industry and at tax advisory firms. We recruit for (multi)national companies and tax advisory firms. We advise and support many tax specialists on their career planning. This can be a step towards an in-house position in industry or a position at an advisory firm. We continuously have interesting positions/job openings. We are pleased to get in contact with you to confidentially discuss your wishes and demands with respect to a new position or employer. The Resource has both permanent as well as temporary positions.
Are you considering a different position and do you want to discuss this with us on a no strings attached basis, please contact us.
Our procedure consist of different stages, but every procedure is unique and has its own dynamics. The following stages can be distinguished:
- Face-to-face interview
We always start with a personal and confidential interview at our office. We then discuss your wishes, capabilities and (perhaps) limitations, no strings attached. Our experience and background ensures we can advise you well on a possible next step and the best timing for it.
- Career opportunities
We talk about the (current) opportunities and give you an indication of the chances of success to fulfil your wishes with respect to your ideal position. We also help you plan your career if you want.
Furthermore, we talk about your salary wishes and demands. If there are positions that suit you we discuss them with you. If not we keep you informed about relevant positions that come up. We indicate the positive but also less positive aspects of a position. In our opinion, this is a condition to success.
Only if you have explicitly approved your introduction we introduce you to our client.
During the procedure The Resource is in regular contact for feedback, advise and on any matters including the package to be offered.
- After the procedure
After the placement we stay in touch in order to check if the requirements of both parties are met.
The market for tax specialists at first glance looks broadly uniform. There is a difference between the work of an in-house tax manager and a tax consultant. The first protects the many interests of a specific individual company, whereas the consultant is advising companies on an ad-hoc and often more technical basis. Our experience is that each job is unique.
We are happy to discuss which position, including its responsibilities and practical tasks, fits you best.
